Welcome to my digital portfolio.

My name is Daniel Novo Gaspar, I was born in August '98, in Leiria. In 2016 I moved to Lisbon to pursue my passion for photography.

 

For me, photography is a way of expressing what I want to say and how to represent and show my ideas. Because everyone knows how to "take a photo", the difficult part is giving the meaning, the motive, and transmitting the right feeling. Photography is not just an image, it's a story, it's a feeling.

 

My preferred areas of photography are documentary photography, author photography, architecture, and portraits.

 

I also have a great passion for video and creating stories through moving images, so I started a YouTube channel, ES Forgotten, where I film several of my adventures, castles (another great passion of mine), abandoned places, historic Portuguese villages, vlogs around the world, sharing experiences in various countries, all this with a touch of my humor!!

Since 2021 I've been working on the Bros Of Decay Youtube channel was an editor, filmmaker, director and producer. My biggest achivements on the channel was the documentary I wrote and created from scrats about Lynnewood Hall, an abandoned mansion that needed help to be recovered. With our documentary we were able to help the foundation on its acquisition.
